Downloadable ring tones are all the rage. They are a popular addition to the cell phone phenomenon. The price of cell phone ring tones varies with different websites. However, the price is usually relatively low, usually at around $2.00 per downloadable ring tone. Furthermore, most sites offer discounts for purchasing multiple downloadable ring tones.
Another way to get discounts on a downloadable ring tone is by purchasing your tones in advance. Some websites offer the option of buying "credits". Each credit can then be used to purchase a cell phone ring tone at a later date. You can make your purchase online via credit card. If you don't have a credit card, some websites offer the option of buying your ring tones by calling a 900 number. Look around for this on the web if you need to.
If you're programming your own downloadable ring tone onto your Nokia, Ericsson, or Motorola cell phone, you can do so for free. While this is a great boon, the downside is that most likely you're not looking for a self-programmed ring tone. If you're like us, you'd much rather have hit songs or a movie theme.
